Notes of a yacht voyage to Hardanger fjord, and the adjacent estuaries. By a yachting dabbler

London: Longman, Brown, Green, and Longman, n.d. (1855, as given by British and American university catalogues. Schiötz: ca. 1850). xxvii, 105pp, plus addenda, list of illustrations and errata (2 pages). 

26 plates: 8 black/white, 14 tinted, 3 mounted (uncoloured), 1 double page plate ”Ulving Fiord”. All tissue guards present. 8vo. First edition. Original burgundy cloth, gilt pictorial and blind-stamped design to upper board. 

Spine slightly darkened. The tinted lithographs have a light damp stain in the lower part, must have been present before binding. Else a tight copy with clean and fresh interior.

Schiötz 887: Reise med egen yacht foregikk i sommeren 1845: Bergen, Tysnes, Hardanger, Stavanger, Kristiansand.

– Bøkene er beskrevet etter beste evne. Vesentlige defekter og mangler som ikke er angitt, skal meldes senest 7 dager etter mottak. Slike bøker kan returneres.
– Utover tilslagssummen tilkommer for kjøper et auksjonssalær på 25% (30% for autografer/manuskripter/brev)
– Auksjonen avsluttes på angitt tidspunkt. For hvert bud innen de 2 siste minutter legges tiden til med 2 minutter til auksjonsslutt. Dette gjentas inntil det ikke kommer flere bud.
– Salget gjøres opp ved bankoverføring innen en uke etter fakturautstedelse.

Auction terms

  1. The books are described to the best of our ability. Defects not specified must be reported no later than 7 days after receipt. Such books can be returned.
  2. In addition to the hammer price, the buyer will be charged a hammer fee of 25%
  3. The auction ends at the specified time. For each bid within the last 5 minutes, the time is reset to 5 minutes until the end of the auction.
  4. The sale is settled by bank transfer within one week of invoice issuance.

Bidding

Register a maximum bid and the system will automatically bid for you in the below intervals until someone bids more than your registered maximum bid.
