Upper flap loose, though ”clean” tear. Upper corner of front panel creased in upper right corner. Slightly nicked to spine ends.


The book is in near fine to fine condition. Tight and with ”sharp” edges. Red top-stain very lightly faded to towards spine and front edge.

Contemporary inscriptions of this classic can be hard to get hold of.

First issue points:

  • Six line colophon on title page verso and on the last page
  • Dust jacket priced «$3.95» on upper flap and without ISBN number on the rear panel.
